Gejlbjerg Bed of Brown Coal.

At the eastern side of the gravel road, Juelsgårdsvej, about 7 kilometres south-east of Skarrild is a bigger lake which, at the right time of year, is ornamented by big quantities of red and white waterlilies. The lake is an earlier bed of brown coal.

More beds of brown coal can be seen along Laulundvej. Here as well you can see the sand hills from the digging and after decades they are still lying there uncovered because of the sourness of the soil. Look at the area but DO NOT Go out there, it can be dangerous because of sandslides.
