Skarrild Mill Lake.

From time immemorial the water of the mill lake has been used as an energy source for milling and for producing electricity.
There is not much left of the mill house with its original use. Today the present buildings are used by a neighbouring fish farming.

A path has been made round in the area which is cosy and very peaceful.

Do not get too close to the swans when they have cygnets they may be a little aggressive.
