The fine buildings at Skarrildhouse about 4 kilometres south of Skarrild is today holding the course house of The Association of Danish Teachers. The park is vey worth a visit. It is not easy to see today that Skarrildhouse has its origin in one of Denmark`s first industrial adventures under the name of Clasonsborg. Right back to the late eighteen-thirties Karstoft Stream was dammed so that it could deliver energy to a textile factory which among other things woollen material.
